And so, Christmas is over. No more Christmas music serenading me 24/7, no more rushing around trying to think of the perfect present, no more parties doused with rich foods & desserts, no more excuses to skip my workout @ the gym...back in the swing we return. It's a little disenchanting, simply because it's a wonderful time of the year (the most!), and yet, it's refreshing, don't you think? In this new year we get to start things fresh and reevaluate where life is going...surely a thrilling prospect!
This has been a very hard time in our lives. We've just lost two people who were very special to us in many ways. Because of that, we are sad. Life goes on for us, but they will be greatly missed. The end of this month has included two weddings and two funerals...it's an awkward combination of lives starting and ending. Through it all though, God is good. And that is what matters. Will post more soon.
